Dismukes, who graduated in May with a degree in political science and social science, will assist the Federation's political consultant and state public policy team with research, member engagement and outreach.
"Will is a talented young man with a bright future," said Governmental Affairs Director Brian Hardin. "We are fortunate to have him on our team and look forward to working with Will as he gains experience and knowledge of the political process and our organization."
At Faulkner, Dismukes was an two-time All-American baseball pitcher, overcoming a stroke his senior year to once again excel on the diamond. He earned numerous awards including the Southern States Athletic Conference Champions of Character Award and the Faulkner University Social Science Department Award. Dismukes was a member of the president's and dean's lists six consecutive semesters at Faulkner University.
During high school at Autauga Academy, Dismukes was State Student Government Association president for the Alabama Independent School Association.
"I am very excited to be part of the Alabama Farmers Federation," Dismukes said. "It's an honor to work alongside Brian Hardin and Beth Chapman. I look forward to working hard to help make a positive difference for our members."
Dismukes currently serves as youth minister for Autaugaville Baptist Church and previously was an intern for Alabama House of Representatives Majority Leader Micky Hammon.
