MONTGOMERY, Ala., Sept. 27 — Alabama Speaker of the House Mike Hubbard (R-Auburn) announced today that the Alabama Law Institute is accepting applications for their annual Alabama Legislative Internship Program. The program runs concurrently with the 2014 Alabama Legislative Session.
Intern applicants must at least be a junior or higher in college and must be either an Alabama resident or be attending college in Alabama. Interns are expected to work Monday – Thursday from Jan. 7 – April 28, 2014. For those interested, academic credit is available. The Alabama Legislative Internship Program provides students with the opportunity to observe and be involved first-hand in the legislative process of state government.
